What does Scania EBS fault code 24576 mean?
The control unit receives signals from a trailer control module which the vehicle is not configured for.
What causes Scania DTC 24576?
The vehicle has an incorrect configuration, damaged wiring or the control unit has an internal fault.
How does the system react?
The red warning lamp comes on and the electronically controlled user functions for the trailer are not working. Warning! This fault may cause the braking capacity to be reduced! The unidentified component makes the system a traffic hazard!
How to fix Scania EBS fault code 24576?
- Check that the configuration matches the installation.
- Check that the installation to the control unit is correct.
- Check the connections and cable harness.
- As a last resort, renew the control unit.
