How to fix Scania EBS fault code 296?

  1. If fault codes have also been registered for the service brake module, check the cable harness and connections between the control unit (A6) and the service brake module.
  2. Clear the fault code and switch off the voltage with the starter key.
  3. If the fault code recurs after the system is restarted, the control unit must be renewed.
