What does Scania TMS fault code 296 mean?
The clutch actuator notifies that the clutch mode does not follow the clutch mode requested from the TMS control unit.
What causes Scania DTC 296?
Fault in electrical clutch actuator.
How does the system react?
A yellow warning indication is displayed. The clutch is turned off until the vehicle voltage is turned off and on again with the starter key.
What are the symptoms?
It is not possible to change gears.
How to fix Scania TMS fault code 296?
- Renew the electrical clutch actuator.
