What causes Scania DTC 567?

Possible causes: - Pneumatic or mechanical fault in the brake system. - Dirty or overheated wheel brakes. - Fault in the trailer wheel brakes, if present, or the brake system. - Internal fault in the BMS control unit.

How does the system react?

The red warning lamp comes on and no brake-related user functions work.

How to fix Scania EBS fault code 567?

  1. Check the compressed air connections between the control modules and wheel brakes.
  2. Check the compressed air supply in the control modules.
  3. Check for mechanical faults in the wheel brakes, such as dirt, blockages or incorrect settings.
  4. Check the wheel brakes and the brake system for the trailer, if there is one.
  5. Check the brake performance with the vehicle loaded.
  6. Clear the fault code and switch off the voltage with the starter key.
  7. If the fault code recurs after the system is started up again, the BMS control unit must be renewed.
