What does Scania EMD fault code 1682 mean?
The voltage in the circuit has been outside the permitted range.
What causes Scania DTC 1682?
- Fault in the cooling fan harness-to-harness connectors or cable harness. - Fault in the cooling fan.
What are the symptoms?
If the cooling fan is hydraulically controlled (V119), it cannot be switched off. If the cooling fan is electrically controlled (T123), it will not work at all.
How to fix Scania EMD fault code 1682?
Check the cooling fan along with the circuit components, harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables.
