What does Scania EMS fault code 1145 mean?
The pressure in the exhaust brake actuator is higher than expected.
What causes Scania DTC 1145?
- Fault in the valve block. - The built-in pressure sensor is damaged. - The calibration of the built-in pressure sensor is incorrect.
What are the symptoms?
The exhaust brake has reduced braking power. Reduced engine performance, more powerful exhaust fumes, increased reduction agent consumption. The vehicle does not shift gears as smoothly due to poor exhaust brake performance.
How to fix Scania EMS fault code 1145?
- Check that the exhaust brake linear actuator is moving.
- Check the atmospheric pressure sensor.
- Check the valve block cable harness and connector.
- Renew the valve block if the problem persists.
