What does Scania EMS fault code 41008 mean?
Internal fault in the main unit.
What causes Scania DTC 41008?
One of the sensors inside the main unit is short-circuited to battery voltage.
How does the system react?
The fault causes reductant injection to be switched off.
How to fix Scania EMS fault code 41008?
- Detach the contactor to the heater element diaphragm pump.
- If the fault code becomes inactive, the heater element is faulty.
- If this is the case, renew the diaphragm pump.
- Clear the fault code and switch the voltage off and on using the starter key.
- If the fault code persists, the main unit needs to be renewed.
