What does Scania EMS fault code 4359 mean?
There was no signal from the engine speed sensor.
What causes Scania DTC 4359?
The fault code may have arisen because the rotational speed sensor is not connected correctly.
How does the system react?
If one of the engine speed sensors is faulty, the maximum engine torque is reduced by 30% as long as the fault is active. In addition, the engine's high idle speed is lower than usual.
How to fix Scania EMS fault code 4359?
- Check the rotational speed sensors, harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables.
- Check the battery voltage.
