What does Scania EMS fault code 57 mean?
The voltage in the solenoid valve circuit that controls the wastegate valve has been incorrect.
What causes Scania DTC 57?
The turbocharger wastegate valve is controlled by a solenoid valve (V109), which receives signals from the engine management system. Open circuit or short circuit in solenoid valve circuit.
How does the system react?
The charge air pressure is regulated incorrectly, risk of overcharging.

Check the solenoid valve, cable harnesses and harness-to-harness connectors.
