What does Scania EMU fault code 4116 mean?
The control unit gives an implausibly low voltage, which indicates a short circuit to earth.
What causes Scania DTC 4116?
- Fault in cable harness or connector. - Fault in pressure sensor. - Fault in control unit E159.
How does the system react?
A yellow warning indication is displayed. Heating and cooling of the propulsion batteries is limited.
What are the symptoms?
Impaired cab comfort as the heat pump functionality is limited. Impaired vehicle performance due to reduced heating or cooling of the propulsion batteries. Increased energy consumption.
How to fix Scania EMU fault code 4116?
- Check the pressure sensors, connectors and cable harness.
- Replace pressure sensor, contactor or cable harness to the sensor.
- Replace control unit E159.
