What does Scania EMU fault code 4132 mean?
One or more CAN messages are missing.
What causes Scania DTC 4132?
- No voltage supply (24 V) from the EMU control unit to the compressor. - Disconnected or short-circuited CAN cable. - Overloaded CAN network.
How does the system react?
- Refrigerant compressor E157 turns off. - Cab cooling is not working.
What are the symptoms?
- Warm temperatures in the cab in warm ambient temperature. - Impaired cab comfort. - The fault can cause too high an atmospheric humidity in the cab.
How to fix Scania EMU fault code 4132?
- Check that refrigerant compressor E157 has a voltage supply.
- Check the cable harnesses and connectors between EMU control unit E159 and refrigerant compressor E157.
- Measure CAN termination.
