What does Scania EMU fault code 4164 mean?
The compressor indicates too high a pressure on the discharge side.
What causes Scania DTC 4164?
- Fault in the fan. - Too much refrigerant in the cooling system. - Fault in pressure sensor T6 - Blockage or contamination in the cooling circuit. - Fault in refrigerant compressor E157.
How does the system react?
- Refrigerant compressor E157 turns off. - Cab air conditioning switched off.
What are the symptoms?
Limited cab cooling.
How to fix Scania EMU fault code 4164?
- Check the fans.
- Check the refrigerant level and, if necessary, fill with refrigerant.
- Search for blockage or contamination in the cooling circuit.
- Check pressure sensor T6.
- Check refrigerant compressor E157.
- Renew defective components if necessary.
