What does Scania EST fault code 602 mean?
The report from the motor pump unit about requested rotational speed does not correspond to what the control unit has requested.
What causes Scania DTC 602?
- Fault in the CAN communication with the motor pump unit. - Error in software. - Internal fault in the motor pump unit electric motor.
How to fix Scania EST fault code 602?
- Check the CAN connection between the motor pump unit and the control unit.
- Check for any current campaigns to upgrade the system software.
- Turn off the power with the starter key.
- Apply the parking brake, switch on the voltage and let the vehicle complete a diagnostic self-test.
- Check whether the fault code has become inactive.
- If the fault code is active, delete the fault code and let the vehicle carry out a diagnostic self-test.
- Start the vehicle and check whether the fault code recurs.
- If the fault code recurs, check the circuit components and cable harness.
- Renew the electric motor in the motor pump unit.
