What causes Scania DTC 625?

- Fault in the cable harness or harness-to-component connectors in the circuit for the motor pump unit. - Internal fault in the motor pump unit electric motor.

How to fix Scania EST fault code 625?

  1. Make sure that the voltage level for the control unit is at a normal level.
  2. Restart the tag axle steering system according to the instructions for verification below.
  3. Check to see if the fault code recurs.
  4. Check whether fault code 601 is active.
  5. If it is active, this points to a short circuit in the cable harness for the motor pump unit electric motor.
  6. Check the signals Activation signal for pump motor unit and Confirmation from the pump motor unit when an activation signal received.
  7. They should have the same value.
  8. Check the cable harness and harness-to-component connectors in the circuit for the electric motor.
  9. Renew the electric motor.
  10. Verification Turn off the 15 voltage with the starter key and wait for 10 seconds.
  11. Apply the parking brake.
  12. Make sure that the tag axle can move freely without endangering people or the vehicle.
  13. Activate the 15 voltage by turning the starter key to the drive position.
  14. The system will now carry out a diagnostic self-test.
  15. Wait for 60 seconds.
  16. The fault code should now be inactive.
