  1. Check the expansion unit fuse, cable harness and connections.
  2. See the expansion unit light-emitting diodes that are indicating active faults.
  3. Orange light-emitting diode flashes three times: update the software.
  4. Yellow light-emitting diode is inactive or flickers: Check the CAN bus's cable harness and harness-to-component connector.
