What does Scania MBS fault code 627 mean?
CAN communication with the rear DCU control unit is cancelled or missing.
What causes Scania DTC 627?
- Blown control unit fuse. - Fault in control unit. - Fault in brown CAN bus. - The control unit is not connected to the brown CAN bus. - Fault in voltage supply to control unit.
How does the system react?
- A yellow warning indication is displayed. - Functions dependent on the rear DCU control unit may be limited.
What are the symptoms?
The driver cannot operate the rear door.
How to fix Scania MBS fault code 627?
- Check the control unit fuse.
- Check the CAN cable harness for the control unit.
- Check the harness-to-component connector and cable harness for the control unit.
