What does Scania MBS fault code 658 mean?
Fault detected in the end position sensor (wheelchair ramp retracted) for the electric wheelchair ramp.
What causes Scania DTC 658?
- Short circuit or open circuit caused by damaged cable harness in wheelchair ramp. - Fault in end position sensor.
How does the system react?
- The function of the wheelchair ramp is degraded or completely out of action. - A warning about the wheelchair ramp is displayed in the instrument cluster.
What are the symptoms?
The driver cannot operate the wheelchair ramp as correct information about the position of the wheelchair ramp cannot be displayed.
How to fix Scania MBS fault code 658?
Check the end position sensor, cable harness and connections.
