What does Scania MBS fault code 768 mean?
Short circuit to earth has been detected on the connection to the electric power supply for the rear left-hand hatch sensor. The voltage is outside the limit value.
What causes Scania DTC 768?
Short circuit in the electric power supply to the rear left-hand hatch sensor. This may be due to a fault in the electric power supply cable harness or harness-to-component connector.
How does the system react?
- The instrument cluster indicates a broken circuit for all hatches connected to the same electric power supply. - The instrument cluster displays the hatches as open.
What are the symptoms?
The bus stop brake may be applied or engine start prevented because the hatches are indicated as open.
How to fix Scania MBS fault code 768?
Check the electric power supply cable harness and harness-to-component connector.
