What does Scania MBS fault code 780 mean?
A short circuit to earth has been detected on the connection to the power supply for the front hatch sensor. The voltage is outside the limit value.
What causes Scania DTC 780?
Short circuit in the electric power supply to the front hatch sensor. This may be due to a fault in the electric power supply cable harness or harness-to-component connector.
How does the system react?
- The instrument cluster indicates a broken circuit for all hatches connected to the same electric power supply. - The instrument cluster displays the hatches as open.
What are the symptoms?
The bus stop brake may be applied or engine start prevented because the hatches are indicated as open.
