What does Scania OCS fault code 144384 mean?
The charge air pressure is higher than expected.
What causes Scania DTC 144384?
- Fault on valve block V107. - The wastegate valve is jammed in the closed position. - Fault on the charge air pressure sensor T166. - The charge air pressure sensor is frozen. - The M34 throttle actuator is jammed.
How does the system react?
The torque is limited. A yellow warning indication is displayed.
What are the symptoms?
The fault affects engine performance.
How to fix Scania OCS fault code 144384?
- Check the valve block V107 and also the harness-to-harness connectors and cable harness.
- Run the Checking the wastegate valve wizard.
- Select System check.
- Check the charge air pressure sensor T166 and also the harness-to-harness connectors and cable harness.
- Run the wizard Checking the pressure sensor.
- Check the throttle actuator M34 and its harness-to-harness connector and cable harness.
- Note: After clearing the fault codes the 15 voltage must be switched off for approximately 1 minute so that the pressure sensors adapt.
