How does the system react?

The torque is limited. Injection in the cylinder is switched off. A yellow warning indication is displayed.

What are the symptoms?

The fault affects engine performance. The vehicle is difficult to start or cannot be started. Misfiring occurs.

How to fix Scania OCS fault code 156161?

  1. Check the injectors and also the cable harness and harness-to-harness connectors.
  2. Renew injector.
  3. Renew control unit OCS E103.
  4. Start the engine after the repair to verify that the fault has been rectified.
