What does Scania OCS fault code 71202 mean?
Too high a value from the coolant temperature sensor.
What causes Scania DTC 71202?
- Fault in coolant temperature sensor, harness-to-harness connector or cable harness. - Cooling system fault.
How does the system react?
The torque is limited. A yellow warning indication is displayed.
What are the symptoms?
The fault affects engine performance. The vehicle is difficult to start or cannot be started.
How to fix Scania OCS fault code 71202?
- Check the coolant temperature sensor, harness-to-harness connector and cable harness.
- Carry out general troubleshooting of the cooling system, e.g. fans, the coolant pump, the coolant level and the coolant thermostat.
- Renew the coolant temperature sensor.
