The GMS control unit has interpreted a time-out on the coordinator’s gear lever information message.

What causes Scania DTC 11041?

If the CAN messages from the coordinator control unit which transmits the gear lever information are missing longer than 5 times the transmission frequency, this fault code is generated.

How does the system react?

The system goes into clutch mode.

How to fix Scania OPC fault code 11041?

  1. Check CAN connections, harness-to-harness connectors and cable harnesses.
  2. Also check the engine control unit.
