What causes Scania DTC 769?

- MBS master control unit or TCC control unit fault. - Fault in brown CAN bus. - The MBS master control unit or TCC control unit is not connected to the brown CAN bus, due to: - CAN cable harness fault. - The CAN bus's cable harness was disconnected while the TCC control unit or MBS master control unit was started. - Voltage supply fault to the MBS master control unit while the TCC control unit was running.

The control unit exits ongoing steps, for example flushing.

How to fix Scania TCC fault code 769?

  1. If the CAN bus has fault codes for communication faults for other control units on the same CAN bus, then action them first.
  2. Check the cable harness for the CAN bus.
  3. Check the voltage supply to the MBS master control unit.
  4. Check the CAN bus cable harnesses, harness-to-harness connectors and terminals.
  5. Measure in the CAN bus's cable harness after short circuit or open circuit.
  6. It may be a transient error due to vibrations or other circumstances.
