What causes Scania DTC 1027?

- The chassis serial number from the EMU control unit has not been sent or has been sent incorrectly. - The chassis serial number in the EMU control unit and in the TMS control unit do not match.

How does the system react?

A red warning for the coordinator is lit in the instrument cluster. The vehicle is still drivable.

How to fix Scania TMS fault code 1027?

  1. Check CAN communication with the EMU control unit.
  2. Check that the EMU control unit and the TMS control unit are using the same chassis serial number.
  3. Spare part program the EMU control unit and the TMS control unit.
