What does Scania ACS fault code 18 mean?
Signal from BMS missing.
What causes Scania DTC 18?
The BMS control unit is not working properly, or fault in communication via the red CAN bus.
How does the system react?
When the fault code is active, the ACS warning indication is displayed. Limp home mode will be activated.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 18?
- Check the BMS control unit.
- Check other systems on the red CAN bus.
