What does Scania ACS fault code 525 mean?
Short circuit to ground in the angle sensor circuit.
What causes Scania DTC 525?
- Fault in cable harness or harness-to-component connector to the angle sensor. - Fault in angle sensor.
What are the symptoms?
The articulation unit may be damped more than normal, which can affect the driveability of the vehicle.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 525?
- Check for a short circuit in the cable harness and harness-to-component connector between the control unit and the angle sensor.
- Renew the angle sensor.
