The system carries out regular load checks of the control unit processor and memory usage. - Memory usage > 85%. - Control unit processor load on 50 Hz > 70%. - Control unit processor load on 100 Hz > 80 %. - Control unit processor load total > 85%.

How to fix Scania BMU fault code 514?
- Clear the fault code if the fault occurs once or twice between two maintenance events.
- Check other nodes in the CAN network, both on TMS-SUB-CAN and RES-CAN and the CAN bus cables if the fault recurs regularly.
- Renew the BMU E81 if the fault remains after the checks above.
- When renewing BMU, run Calibrating propulsion battery information.
