What does Scania BMU fault code 517 mean?
Operational data stored in the permanent memory missing. Files containing operational data are faulty or missing when starting the ECU. Stored operational data cannot be read from the permanent memory.

The system 30 voltage was switched off when the ECU was writing files containing operational data.

No action required, lost operational data cannot be regenerated.
