What does Scania MBS fault code 517 mean?
File containing operation data is found to be inconsistent or missing at start of ECU. Stored operation data could not be read from the persistent memory.
What causes Scania DTC 517?
System supply voltage (U30) was cut off while the ECU was writing to the file containing operation data.
How does the system react?
No vehicle reaction. Operational data lost.
How to fix Scania MBS fault code 517?
None, since lost data can not be re-created.
