How does the system react?

Yellow warning indication of an electric drive system fault is displayed. Yellow warning indication that the 24-volt batteries are not charging is displayed.

VOR. The direct current converter will not be activated. The propulsion battery is set to fault status and the 24 V system drains the 24 V batteries.

How to fix Scania BMU fault code 790?

  1. Check and action any other fault codes from the direct current converter.
  2. Clear the fault code.
  3. Turn off the voltage with the starter key.
  4. Wait for 30 seconds.
  5. Switch on the voltage with the starter key.
  6. Read the fault codes again.
  7. If there are still active fault codes, renew direct current converter E84, DCC.
