What does Scania BWS fault code 65413 mean?
There has been a fault on the neutral position signal from the GMS control unit.
What causes Scania DTC 65413?
A fault has occurred in the GMS control unit.
How does the system react?
This is a secondary fault code. It is triggered for safety reasons in the bodywork control unit if a fault occurs in the GMS control unit. Remote engine start does not work as long as there is no signal or the signal is incorrect. Other functions which are dependent on the gear being in neutral will be limited or not work at all. The fault code can only be activated if one of the following statements is correct. - The bodywork control unit is configured to support remote enginr start. - One of the power take-off functions is configured so that it is dependent upon the gear being in neutral. - The vehicle is fitted with a torque converter. - One of the bodywork control unit outputs is configured to reproduce a discrete neutral position signal.
