What does Scania COO fault code 6 mean?
The communication between the coordinator and the EBS control unit has been interrupted.
What causes Scania DTC 6?
The fault may be due to: - Open circuit for the red CAN bus. - Short circuit or open circuit in the EBS control unit power supply - Internal fault in the EBS control unit
How does the system react?
When the fault is active, the brake light remains lit. It is also possible that activation of the exhaust brake may not work properly.
How to fix Scania COO fault code 6?
- Check the red CAN bus wiring and harness-to-harness connectors.
- Check the circuit for the EBS control unit power supply (30) and the circuit for the EBS control unit's activation signal (15).
