What does Scania CTS fault code 6 mean?
The short-stop cooling switch is stuck.
What causes Scania DTC 6?
Mechanical fault. A fault code is generated when the switch has been depressed for more than 2 minutes. The fault code is deleted when the switch returns to the normal position or when another switch is stuck in the depressed position.
What are the symptoms?
The switch is inoperative.
How to fix Scania CTS fault code 6?
- Check the switch.
- Renew the CTS unit if the switch does not return to normal operation.
