What does Scania CUV fault code 577 mean?
Current consumption on the control unit output has exceeded 6 A for one second.
What causes Scania DTC 577?
Too many lamps are connected, there is a short circuit in a lamp or short circuit to ground.
How does the system react?
Rear foglight is inoperative. Every time the function is activated, the current consumption on the control unit output is checked. If the current consumption is too high, the output is switched off and a fault code is registered.

Check the number of connected lamps, faulty lamps or short circuit to ground.
