What does Scania EEC fault code 4353 mean?

The reductant pump needs to run more slowly than expected to maintain the correct reductant pressure.

What causes Scania DTC 4353?

- Blockage in reductant tank return hose. - Blockage in the reductant doser return pipe. - Reductant pressure sensor in reductant doser indicates values that are too high. - The reductant is frozen. The reductant freezes at -11°C.

How to fix Scania EEC fault code 4353?

  1. Run Wizard for dirt in the SCR system.
  2. Check whether the reductant in the reductant circuit has frozen, look at the temperature in circuit T116.
  3. Check Reductant pick-up unit.
  4. Run the wizard Exhaust gas aftertreatment, troubleshooting the liquid components of the SCR system.
  5. The wizard is used to find blockages in the reductant circuit.
