What does Scania EEC fault code 4355 mean?
The reductant pump speed has been too high.
What causes Scania DTC 4355?
Fault in the reductant pump or in the reductant pump rotational speed sensor.
How does the system react?
The reductant pump is shut down, which results in higher exhaust emissions. The fault leads to the flow of reductant in the SCR system being shut off. This affects the cooling of the reductant doser. Combined with high exhaust temperatures this can result in permanent damage to the reductant doser.
How to fix Scania EEC fault code 4355?
- Check the reductant circuit.
- Run the wizard Exhaust gas aftertreatment, troubleshooting the liquid components of the SCR system.
- If the speed of the reductant pump is too high, the test will be terminated.
- If the test is terminated: Check the harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables between the control unit EEC and reductant pump rotational speed sensor.
- If the harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables are intact, renew the reductant pump.
- Deactivate the fault code once the fault has been rectified by running the wizard Exhaust gas aftertreatment, troubleshooting the liquid components of the SCR system.
