What does Scania ELC fault code 131 mean?
The voltage on the output to the solenoid valve has been too high.
What causes Scania DTC 131?
This fault code is generated if the solenoid valve and/or cable harness has been exposed to undesired positive voltage, e.g. through a short circuit.
How does the system react?
If the fault occurs there will be no standby function, load transfer and manual raise/lower tag axle. The yellow warning symbol is on when the fault is active.
How to fix Scania ELC fault code 131?
Check the cable harness for damage or forbidden connections and make sure the solenoid valve is intact.
