What does Scania ELC fault code 405 mean?

The voltage on the input from the pressure sensor is between 0.15 V and 0.37 V.

What causes Scania DTC 405?

This fault code is generated if there is an open circuit in the cable harness or the pressure sensor itself.

How does the system react?

If the fault occurs there will be no standby function, level correction or other functions for the rear axle. The yellow warning symbol is on when the fault is active.

How to fix Scania ELC fault code 405?

  1. Check the cable harness for damage and loose connections and make sure the pressure sensor is intact.
  2. When the sensor is renewed, the control system must be calibrated using SDP3.
