How to fix Scania EMD fault code 5636?

  1. Clear the fault code.
  2. Restart the engine control unit by switching on the voltage with the starter key.
  3. Wait one minute and switch off the voltage with the starter key.
  4. Clear fault codes.
  5. Switch off the ignition and wait one minute.
  6. Switch on the ignition and check that the fault codes are cleared.
  7. If the fault code is reactivated, renew the engine control unit.
