How to fix Scania EMD fault code 5638?

  1. Clear the fault code.
  2. Restart the engine control unit by switching off the voltage with the starter key.
  3. Wait one minute and switch the voltage back on with the starter key.
  4. Run the engine for approx.
  5. 10 minutes.
  6. If the fault code recurs, renew the engine control unit.
