- Check the component, harness-to-harness connectors and electrical cables.
- Renew the throttle.

The control unit interprets that the throttle actuator has a short circuit to earth.
Possible cause
- Cable harness or harness-to-component connector short-circuited to earth. - The actuator has a short circuit to earth.
How to fix
- Check the actuator cable harness and harness-to-component connectors.
- Renew the actuator.
