What does Scania EST fault code 550 mean?
The fault code is activated when the motor pump unit has overheated or cannot turn.
What causes Scania DTC 550?
- The motor pump load being too high. - The pump being mechanically blocked or locked. - Excessively high ambient temperature.
How to fix Scania EST fault code 550?
- Check the cooling of the motor pump unit.
- Check that it is not covered over or positioned next to another component which gives off a lot of heat.
- Check the pump and the motor for mechanical faults.
