What causes Scania DTC 563?

- The vehicle has been driven while the tag axle steering system was in service mode. - Faulty software. - Interference from electromagnetic radiation.

What are the symptoms?

Fault codes related to missing CAN communication may be activated in other control units.

How to fix Scania ESTA fault code 563?

  1. Deactivate service mode for the system.
  2. Clear the fault code and then turn the 15 voltage off and on with the starter key.
  3. Check that the fault code does not recur.
  4. If the fault code recurs:
  5. Check that no disruptive equipment is connected to the vehicle electrical system.
  6. Check whether there are any software updates for the system.
