What does Scania ESTA fault code 551 mean?
The voltage supply is too low to drive the motor pump unit.
What causes Scania DTC 551?
- Fault in cable harness or connections. - Fault in the battery or fuse. - Internal fault in the motor pump unit electric motor.
How to fix Scania ESTA fault code 551?
- Check the status of the vehicle batteries.
- Check the cable harness and connections.
- Check that the voltage between signal and ground is approximately 24 volts.
- Check the signal for the motor pump unit supply voltage.
- Compare with the measured value.
- If the difference is greater than 5 V, renew the electric motor in the motor pump unit.
