What does Scania ESTA fault code 560 mean?
The CAN message relating to the steering angle sensor value is incorrect.
What causes Scania DTC 560?
- The steering angle sensor is not fixed to the steering column, which causes it to go outside its measuring range. - Internal fault in the steering angle sensor.
What are the symptoms?
Functions which are dependent on information from the steering angle sensor stop working partially or completely.
How to fix Scania ESTA fault code 560?
- Check whether there are any fault codes for the steering angle sensor in the coordinator.
- Check that the steering angle sensor is fixed.
- Check the voltage supply to the steering angle sensor.
- Clear the fault code and check that it does not recur.
- Calibrate the steering angle sensor.
- Renew the steering angle sensor if the fault recurs.
