What does Scania BCI fault code 560 mean?
The BIC program has reduced functionality because a pin or signal used in the program is being interpreted incorrectly.
What causes Scania DTC 560?
The cause can be one of the following: - Lost CAN communication. - An output pin is short-circuited to ground or voltage supply.
How does the system react?
A yellow BWE warning indication is displayed.
How to fix Scania BCI fault code 560?
- Run the wizard Checking the BIC program and search for the degraded/switched off logic diagram.
- Find out which pin or which signal is faulty.
- Look for fault codes in all systems that agree with the faulty signal or input and carry out any necessary actions.
- Once the current fault code has been rectified, a reset with the starter lock must be carried out to deactivate the fault code.
