What does Scania EEC fault code 4144 mean?
The reductant pump pressure is implausibly high at the same time as the reductant doser pressure is too low. This means that no reductant can reach the reductant doser.
What causes Scania DTC 4144?
- Fault in the system defrosting, resulting in ice formation in the reductant hose between the reductant pump and the reductant doser. - Fault in the electrically heated reductant hose. - Fault in the reductant doser heater. - Blockage between the reductant pump and the reductant doser. - Clogged prefilter in the reductant doser. - Fault on the pressure sensor. - Fault in the reductant pump.
How to fix Scania EEC fault code 4144?
- Run Reductant heating to defrost the system.
- If the system is warm and the problem persists, run Exhaust gas aftertreatment, troubleshooting the liquid components of the SCR system > Troubleshooting wizard.
- Verification If a fault was detected and rectified, start the engine.
- When the temperatures of the reductant doser and the reductant tank indicate that the system has thawed, the system starts and the fault codes become inactive.
