What causes Scania DTC 10?

- Incorrect software activates the fault code even though the vehicle has not been configured for the loudspeaker. - Short circuit in the circuit.

How to fix Scania AUS fault code 10?

  1. Check whether the vehicle has been configured for the loudspeaker.
  2. In that case, the loudspeaker is present as an electrical circuit under the infotainment system.
  3. Via the circuit, you can test the loudspeaker function.
  4. If the vehicle is equipped with the loudspeaker:
  5. Check the cable harness between the control unit and loudspeaker for short circuits.
  6. Measure the resistance of the loudspeaker.
  7. The resistance should be 2–10 ohms.
  8. If the vehicle is not equipped with the loudspeaker but the fault code is still active:
  9. Check that the control unit has the latest software.
  10. Clear the fault code.
  11. Check whether the vehicle has been configured for the loudspeaker.
  12. In that case, the loudspeaker is present as an electrical circuit under the infotainment system.
