What does Scania ACS fault code 10 mean?
The end position sensor is activated even though vehicle speed is so high that the articulation unit should be relatively straight.
What causes Scania DTC 10?
- Defective end position sensor. - Short circuit or open circuit on the end position sensor circuit. - The plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.
How does the system react?
The ACS warning indication is displayed. Limp home mode will be activated.
How to fix Scania ACS fault code 10?
- Check the end position sensor.
- Check cable harnesses, harness-to-harness and harness-to-component connectors.
- Check whether the plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.
